Have the Hallo-weiners started knocking on your door yet? If so, what are they dressed as?

I'm stuck in a hotel and will miss seeing the little bastards tonight- yay I get to eat all the snickers when I get home.

Please tell me what the kids are dressing up as this year.

1. Not yet. It's just getting dark, maybe they'll start showing up soon.

They'd better show up or I'm going to have to eat an awful lot of chocolate candy.

2. Nobody yet. Usually by 8 they're done. Maybe we don't get anyone this year?

3. Coworkers

it's not even two in the afternoon out here.

4. Oh yes--lots of them.

It's all over now, but we had Spiderman, Snow White, the Grim Reaper, a female devil, a ghost, four ninjas, a skeleton, two little witches, a fairy princess, Naruto, and many more that I can't remember. We had a great time. :)

5. Just had three dressed like Sarah Palin

In little jackets and suits, with pageant sashes and tiaras. One's said "Miss Alaska," another said "Miss Bridge to Nowhere," and I didn't see the third. They loved the big Barack poster in the window and my "O" pumpkin.

6. Early on, I had some comments about my Obama sign,

one kid yelled Obama's going to kill us all. That made me feel bad, :-( but then another kid showed up in a McCain mask. He lifted it up and said "Don't vote for me". :rofl:

We had lots and lots of princess costumes, grim reapers(1 beat my inflable 3 ft spider to death with his reaper stick), witches, bums..something I haven't seen in years, numerous little infants & toddlers in animal costumes, mostly brown so I'm not sure what they were supposed to be, police and military uniforms, superman, some football players and on and on. They were coming so fast they were lined up and I didn't get a chance to see all of them.

This is the first year I saw quite a few kids without a costume. One broke my heart. He stood back and said I don't have a costume, when his friend said come get some candy. I told him it didn't matter if he had a costume or not, that I had candy for him and Happy Halloween.

We had a lot of kids...roughly 250. Some of the parents from area towns that are having Halloween on a different night brought their kids over so we probably had double what we normally would have.

7. Traffic is very light tonight. Next door kids were done up to the nines

a beautiful little vampire princess and a superb young Batman.


Had a couple of boys in pirate suits, and real cutie in a spangled dress and curly yellow wig.

I am going to have way too much candy left over.

8. I had a turtle and a ghost. Then a few evil looking creatures. Hanna Montana too.

9. A kid came to the door covered in blood and said he was a hemophiliac.
