4. If they are having a bad trip, talk them down...
If you want to get rid of them, there are plenty of "humane" traps available. Unless they ate them all, they will be back.

DO NOT, try to capture them by yourself, they bite, scratch and generally are like wrestling with a monkey in a bag.

Rabies is very rare, but always a possibility. If they are showing any frothing at the mouth or nose, STAY AWAY!

You could also call your local animal shelter, either before you catch them in a trap, or after.

7. Weasels Ripped My Flesh! (Rzzzzzzzz)

Aren't you supposed to be able to put plastic owls or hawks in your garden to scare off the critters?

Or what about one of those subsonic mole repellents? Don't work on badgers?

Maybe call your county agent...

9. Don't do anything!
In time the flowers will slowly emerge from their hard frozen tombs. They will then violently lunge toward the solar radiation streaming toward earth, absorbing it and transforming it and filling the air with a blanket of soft scent. This will distract the badgers long enough for you to escape. Just don't step on any worms as you make your get-away.
