Things you regret doing/not doing?
I regret the argument with my best friend in 1967 that destroyed our friendship. I learned in 1986 that he died of an overdose in 1976.

I regret not going to Woodstock. I got so stoned the day we were to leave that my friends left me home.

2. There's only one thing I've regretted so far, but I'm taking it to my grave.
For whatever reason, my life has turned out differently and all things considered I don't have too many complaints of where I am right now. Nonetheless, part of me regrets that things didn't work out as I initially wanted.

4. Regrets? I've had a few.
Edited on Wed Oct-29-08 03:02 PM by Forkboy
When I was in high school me and an African American girl were very close, and we wanted to be together, but she was terrified of her parents reaction to her being with a white kid. I regret not pushing the issue.

I regret some of the things I did to people when I was younger, violence wise. They may have been complete assholes, and may have deserved it, but I regret that I was the one who put the lifelong hurt on some of them. Some of them must still have physical problems from what I did to them.

And most of all, I regret losing my wife because of my major depression/bipolar issues.

6. Not breaking up with my last S.O. about two months in (when I knew there were unhealthy patterns)
is a big regret of mine.

I regret moving in with my current set of roommates.

I regret taking my last job, with the insane employers.

I don't regret choosing to throw my old life away in exchange for political and eventually spiritual awareness.

7. Most of the things I regret

...fall under the category of not standing up and speaking out when doing so was necessary for justice. Either on my own behalf, or that of another.
