I can't believe we got snow before Halloween

We had our first real snow down to about 600 meters above sea level in mid-September, and this is the "Mediterranean" part of the country. WTF? That never bodes well for the coming winter. :scared:

I can see the Zugspitz from my back yard! Hey wow, they changed the forecast, it was supposed to snow 2-4 inches tomorrow. Now just rain? And it looks like another unseasonably mild weekend: 63F/17C both days! Good that means I can pedal my ass off both days. :D

And the long range forecast which is always wrong) has most of November as cool and sunny. I'm stunned. :hi:

4. Well, I can't see ours today either, but I saw them 2 days ago

and they were white. Ski season can't be far behind. I saw some giant slalom racing on TV Saturday at Sölden in Austria. :bounce:

If I could haul my ass out of bed in the morning, I could turn on the TV and check out the ski areas! Tomorrow. That will get me into the spirit of things. :applause:
