And it won't be a repeat of 1876 or 2000. Let's hope not

I can remember as one of the DU Lounge Moderators in 2002 trying to cheer up people in my daily thread the day after the midterm elections. It wasn't an easy task because we were all so disappointed but the Lounge really served as a place where we could come together and seek solace and comfort

4. In '06, we were relieved and pleased but Dumbo was still in the White House

In '04, it was so bad that admins just divided GD into regular and GD Recriminations (or something like that) where anything went, and it did. This lasted weeks, or maybe even a month.

Assuming that the landslide projections actually come to pass, it will be an orgy in here. If anything else happens, armageddon.
