McLuhan, Obama, and Cool....has been done

I worked up a pretty good essay in my head on the way home after seeing that new 2:00 minute spot in the WS last night. Blue. Cool in the jazz/cultural sense,in the McLuhan sense, and in the color temp (acceptance speech, new ad).

I even had a title: "The Re-Birth of Cool."

A simple google let me know I'd been beaten to the punch. Don't think it's been done to death though yet, so discuss here if you like. And let me down easy if this was party chatter 4-5 months ago....
