1. Rural Maryland, a little under 1/2 acre = $35 per mowing

Compare your lawn size to that, and adjust accordingly by cost of living where you live. However, that's the going rate here -- between $35 and $40 were the estimates I got when I first picked my guy.

Probably a similar sized lot, but the mowing area is relatively small.
