Does it ever do anything besides rain in Philly?
Every time I've been there, it's been rainy. It's rained on both WS games so far. Why doesn't Philly just build a damn domed stadium if they want to play baseball?

2. You need to travel with me--I have the good weather mojo
Everytime I've been up that way its been sunny and nice. I also brought my weather mojo with me when I went to Minnesota last April...Sunny and 70-75 while there..The night after I left..snow....
So if someone had just kindly coughed up a WS ticket for me, we wouldn't have this problem now...:D

6. Sometimes Philly wins baseball games
but only if it's not raining.

7. It's so nice to sit outside on a summer night, though
I would never buy season tickets for a domed baseball stadium. Half the joy of going to the game is getting out from behind your desk, getting a cold beer, and enjoying the evening and the view of the city and the bridges.

What surprises me is that it rains ALL the time at Penn State - I think they have almost as many rainy days or inches of rain or whatever as Seattle, and yet every time they're on national teevee, it's deceptively sunny. Makes people think it's a pleasant place to go to school, as opposed to the cold, wet, miserable place it really is (although its a great place to party - just not a great place to slog to classes)

I was waiting for it to start sleeting, or something!

(it just sleet-hailed here, it was really weird.)
