for what it's worth, we've been through so much with her for so long now...we thought we lost her several times back in the early Spring of this year--making funeral arrangements and the like--but she pulled through then. We were blessed to have another 8 months with her. I think the experience of so nearly losing her made this a little easier.

She went in the hospital in pretty bad shape, stayed into February, then bounced back and was released. Now it's good and bad days, alternating. She's in her 90s. Very fragile in some ways; like steel in others.

I'm glad you had those extra months.
