Best time you've ever had while stoned?

Here's mine:

I smoked alot in high school, and then I quit abruptly for years, during my time in the Forces (due to mandatory drug testing). When I got out, I met up with some of my old stoner buddies, who never stopped.

So, these guys had had pretty much a decade advantate on me for building up a tolerance.

So, tyrying to keep up on the houka, I got really, really f***ed up.

Of course, the sensible thing to do was to rent a couple of movies, so we walked two blocks to the video place (somehow, that journey actually took two hours--I still don't know how), and decided along the way to have a Harvey Keitel film-fest, because Harvey Keitel is superfuckingbad.

So we got Taxi Driver and we wanted to get Reservoir Dogs, but it was out. So we rented "Bad Lt.", which none of us knew anything about, instead.

Basically, it's two hours of Keitel's full-frontal honesty, him doing crank, and screaming at Jesus/an old Black Woman. Best of all, he kept making these MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM and WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE screaming noises throughout the film.

I have never laughed so hard in my life. I was sore for three days. And, damn, what a good time.

Bonus: the credits on theat film roll up, not down, and are black letters on a white background, instead of white on black. Trippy!

4. Close encounter with the Good Year blimp.

Got stoned, went to go chill out on the roof of a hotel. Fell asleep, and about 20 minutes later, woke up looking at the Good Year blimp not very far over my head, kinda one of those Independence Day-blot out the sun things.

10. I was on this beach in Malibu smoking weed and drinking beer in the 80's

I was hanging out with a bunch of friends and regulars at a nude beach. It was a beautiful week day and not to many people were there. A very tanned and very nude young lady came walking down the beach eating a pomegranate. She walk right up to me and sat down next to me and offered me some of her pomegranate. The sun and the sand and the surf combined with the site of the red juice running down her brown skin just blew me away. I never got her name not did I ever see her again but the memory lives on.

13. The best? How bout 3?

The first was the first time I had what you would call "chronic". I don't remember most of the night, but I distinctly recall climbing the stairs to my buddy's room, and I couldn't feel my legs or torso. It felt like my head was disembodied. Totally weird.

Second, my Friend (now my wife, started dating 6 years later) and I smoked a half ounce driving through North Park in Pittsburgh. After running numerous people off the walking path (unintentionally), we went to her boyfriend's work to pick him up. They said he wasn't working. We said, "Ok". 20 minutes later we went back in looking for him. "He's not here today," they said. "Ok." 20 minutes later, we went back in.....We did this 2 more times before they threatened to call the cops. Ooooops! So we sat outside in the car, and decided to smoke 1 more before we went to his house. After turning on the car, we tried to find a good station to listen to. After 10 minutes of watching/listening to the wiper blades, we decided to leave.....

The third would be going to see the movie, "The Doors", while stationed in Connecticut. The first time I smoked in the Navy, and for 2 years, but it was a good flick!

1976 at the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville. Then we drove down the coast to Crescent Beach and stayed up all night. Stood waist deep in the Atlantic watching the sun rise out of the water. Major buzz that lasts to this day, no shit.

(Okay, okay, there was a black beauty in there too.)

16. Black Sabbath

Actually, I was picking up sticks on the Sabbath. A crowd gathered and stoned me to within an inch of my life.

"While the people of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day ... And The Lord said to Moses, "The man shall be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp." (Numbers 15:32,35 RSV)

Luckily I managed to escape inside the walls of a nearby town (Gomorrah). Well, you call all imagine what happened next...

17. Always a good time with good time with good friends

Being stoned with people who you are close with is always a good time. In my experience, it increases empathy and "feeling" the other person or people, sort of like sex but different, of course.
Probably the best time I had stoned though was last year at Lollapoolza with my husband and best friend. Great music enjoyed with great people and great weed. We passed a joint during Audioslave, who played awesomely at the concert, after coming down from our earlier parking lot high. It was special. I am sorry that I cannot explain it adaquately but it was wonderful.

22. No single best time......

1) Sailing a Lasar during a squall, offshore Negril, butt-naked while staying at Hedonism II shortly after smoking a big fat spliff!
2) Hiking "World's Tallest Tree Trail" tripping on mesacaline and 'shrooms with detours swinging through tree-branches watching baby spiders fly on silken parachutes.
3) Spying on passerbys from the top branches of a 200 foot Redwood with needles like spiky carpet.
4) Leaping from tree-top to tree-top hundred feet off the ground during a windstorm at Table Bluff Park, near South Jetty, Humboldt Bay.
5) Driving Mattole Road puffing "The Local" on sunny spring day seeing nothing but crashing surf and green, sheep-covered hills.
6) Banging ski-bunny in tree-well on slopes of Snowbird after partaking of a "special Sucret". (PS - Lighting up on a chairlift is a kick.)
7) Watching Bugs Bunny and Road Runner on a balcony of Rainbow Hilton at dawn with gentle tropical breezes caressing my tingling flesh! (Chuck Jones was a frigging genius!)
8) Going to Hana in a yellow VW Thing with waterfall stops along the way.

23. went to Niagara Falls with a group of friends . . .

when we were all in college in upstate NY . . . went under the falls, over the falls, around the falls, played bumper cars in one of the towers . . . had a great time! . . . of course, there were a couple of us whose minds were altered with a little more than mj, but that's another story for another time . . . :)

24. Back in my college days.....

My ex, his two best friends, and a friend of mine got stoned at my ex's apartment. Not quite sure how this started... but I think we were playing keep away with a toss-across bean bag, and next thing ya know it was a contact sport! Then Geoff, my ex's best bud was trying to leave the room, and we were all trying to block the doors and windows, and said he couldn't leave. The person gaurding the door somehow got the name "Gatekeeper." Geoff finally manged to get into the bathroom, but there was no window to escape... so he came out wielding shampoo, conditioner, and shaving cream, and we had an all out slime fest! The carpet was absolutely SOAKED with a light orange mixture of the three. It never felt right to walk on again, even after multiple tries to shampoo it. From then on, at appropriate moments, we would call each other "Gatekeeper."
