*sigh* My girls don't have the evening crazies they have the late afternoon early evening to night crazies! Seriously they have been chasing each other around my house on and off for the last 2 and 1/2 hours or so! I'm used to a little of this energetic behavior..but not all night! In fact I was just lying here on the bed watching TV when they came charging in and went flying I shrieked cause I thought a cat was gonna land on my head! (it was close!) I can't be the only one that has more cat antics at this time of year.....
When she was a kitten, an we were taking care of a friend's cat, the two of them would do just what you described. My SO would yell: "You two! Knock it off now or you're hat - and you're gloves!"
They all stay inside and fight over who gets petted more. Velcro cat won't let me go to the bathroom alone, Minou wants to eat absolutely anything I'm eating and Sammy cries until a human plays ping-pong ball with him. I wonder if Super Nanny can help me out.
But I'm not sure they are much crazier than they usually are. There does seem to be a bit more running around and strange thumps and clunks in the night.
6. All three of my boys are older now, and they're content to sleep on the sofa with me
while I'm watching TV. Of course, with the three of them it's impossible to move, but they'll just join me on the bed later. Their rambunctious time is mid-morning, right while I'm in the middle of my work day!
