I wonder what riding a coaster on "V" would be like?

9. Tempting, but I do like the daylight
and like I said, amusement parks do most of the business during daylight, and I'm a roller coaster nut.

14. Disney once opened their park after dark for all those kids allergic to sunlight
I saw that on an edition of some TV show.

13. I admit I am hooked.

A friend, who has not watched the show, asked me if it was any good - I took forever to answer him because I don't know if I can honestly say it's a good show (some seriously bad acting/direction at times). I finally told him it was a trashy pleasure I enjoy and indulge myself in. :D

Though I am normally of the vamps-are-hot mind, the actor who plays Compton doesn't seem to be doing too much on the sexy meter for me. :( The whole dirty sex in the graveyard thing just left me feeling like I needed a shower -- and not in the fun way. :P

I am a Sam fan myself, but then I do love my scruffy pooches. ;) After watching several episodes of Jason's seriously hard body (the actor playing him does biathlons) it was a nice change to see a nekkid man who carries a bit of squoosh on him -- I slow-moed the running scene and he is packing some junk in his truck. :D Though I am upset with him that he mind fucked the Vet who had seen the streaking. Bad dog, no biscuit!

I really like some of the secondary characters, like Hoyt and the Vet (can't remember his name right now) and Rene, and love love LOVE Lafayette. I thought the gay vamp played by Stephen Root was just amazingly wonderful and sad -- it reminded me of how often the older, not-hot men in the gay communnity are all but invisible. :(

There is a great discussion board over on TWoP that goes over the series in minute detail -- I'll dig up the link and post it.

16. The show is like a Harlequin romance book and I hated those books
but I'm hooked now. And the scene where Bill & Sookie first hooked up - my my my my that was well, I can't go there I could get the thread locked.

19. Yes, the first hook-up was much hotter than...
Edited on Tue Oct-28-08 01:37 PM by Hell Hath No Fury
the graveyard scene for me, though I am still trying to get over the trauma of seeing little Anna "Fly Away Home" Paquin's boobage so much. :D

I liked the homage to the old Hammer vamp pix with Sookie's lose-my-virginity nighty with the long sleeves -- some thought it too much, but it was wonderfully retro-gothic to me.

I grew up on Dark Shadows, so I am primed for trashy vamp soap action! :D

21. Frame by frame if you can. :)
Compton's ass is flat as a board, Sam has a "basketball butt" -- round with some bounce in it. :D

20. Was that Stephen Root?? It's an unlisted credit if so.
I went to IMDB right after the last episode to see if that was him, because he's such a chameleon that sometimes it's hard to tell if it's really him or not. No credit (so far), but it wouldn't surprise me, either.

18. Don't like it, moved over to "Dexter" when the new season started.
They are on in the same time slot. Dexter is so much better made, on every level.

I gave True Blood three episodes, and I thought it lurid and stupid. Nothing wrong with lurid, but stupid ....... I didn't find any of the characters interesting or likable. Even the vampires seemed like hicks.

The vampires *are* hicks.

Why else would they be in the sticks?

:woohoo:

And the guy that plays Jason Stackhouse has got one of the most amazing bodies I have ever seen. I could look at that naked body every single day and not get tired.

26. He has a shockingly hard body.
One thing I like about the men of TB is they are allowed to have chest hair, even if it's a little funky (I'm talking about you Jason) chest hair! I love the smooth swimmer look, but am getting tired of seeing nothing but on toomany actors. The actor who plays Jason (Ryan?) has an adorable Aussie accent.

Jason has normal chest hair. I was shocked to see he was from Australia because he has white trash hick down to an artform.

29. Yes he does it really well!
He is somehow able to bring something endearing to a character that should be tiring and obnoxious. As far as his chest hair goes, I was really noticing it the last two episodes -- on the right side of his chest above the nipple area it looks as if a design has been carved out with a pair of hair clippers -- I kept looking at it, wondering if I was supposed to see something specific. :D Perhaps it was just some manscaping gone wrong.
