ARRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!! living out of coolers

so around 9:30 last night, my partner wakes me up in a panic.

"Wake up! you have to help me! The refrigerator died, I have to run out and get ice. Clean out the frige and put the stuff in coolers and in the freezer down cellar"

Stumbling around in a fog, because I had taken a pain pill earlier - I clean out the fridge, pack stuff in coolers.

Tonight, after work, we have to go shopping for a new refrigerator.

a month or so ago, our washer died. Friends of ours had a 2nd washer they weren't using, when they moved into their new house that particular washer wouldn't fit in the laundry room so they had to buy a smaller one, and the 2nd washer was just taking up room in their garage. Works fine, nothing wrong with it - they just gve it to us for nothing, wouldn't take any money.

I doubt they have a 2nd fridge hanging around.. lol

I've seen a lot of people selling off high-end appliances lately. Probably because they're losing their houses, and would rather get a little cash for them than leave them for the bank, I'm guessing.
