I lived in North Carolina for 11 years. I'm biased. What can I say?

12. Close! It's "Well, the first of December . . ."
but very good! Big brownie points for you for thinking about it anyway :-)

6. I have a second favorite
"Fire & Rain"

Supposedly written while he was in a mental hospital. Whether that's true or not, I clung to the song when I was in the same place.

7. Had to vote "Sweet Baby James"
My guy best friend is named James. Several times over the years James Taylor has been in Texas around my birthday and my best friend has taken me to see him. We sit out under the stars on a blanket and just float on the music.

8. "Something in the way she moves."
and then there is another song That I don't know the name of for sure, it might be "Close your Eyes," I only found it on an old mix tape of my mothers without any labels. I have to say I am also partial to "Lonesome Road."

9. Sounds of Silence
I know he didn't sing that one, I just can't stand the sound of his nasel, whiny little voice.
