6. That line...
...was used in the movie The Sixth Sense. It was one of the many red herrings that managed to keep me from guessing the movie's "twist" even though I'd seen countless movies with the same kind of ending and had seen it coming in those other movies.

4. Interesting
It's not the usual (Biblia Vulgata) form of Psalm 129/130 which is

De profundis clamavi ad te Domine

but is clearly connected.

5. Present tense instead of past. I wonder why.

8. I wondered that too...
perhaps raccoon would enlighten us to the source? The subject of the text itself is interesting for that alteration.

End-timers like to alter text to the present from the past, perfect, pluperfect and future tenses because they think we're living the end of days.

12. Well...that seems innocuous.
It could mean anything. It was fun to stretch out my Latin-language muscles though.

10. The response is, of course," Well then shoot the son of a bitch".
That's from "Good News For The Ignorant", Sarah Palin Edition, the one with the dinosaurs for Jesus illustration on the frontispiece.

I had 2 years of Latin in Catholic HS, and remember maybe 8 words, and nearly no grammar - you all must have studied.
