Email question
So I sent the STBE several emails regarding tax returns, beneficiary designations, stuff that he left here, etc., on Friday.

Am I out of line by thinking he should have at least acknowledged receipt of said messages, if not addressed the issues therein?

1. Yes he should at least tell you he got the messages.

Just so you don't have to try to resend them at the very least.

On edit: maybe next time you send him something put a return receipt on it so you know he opened it. He might try to "claim" he hadn't gotten something that he didn't get.

2. I did send a message last night with
the return receipt, but he has the option to send it or not (at least most email programs give you that option).

I sent him a text message asking that he at least tell me he got them too, also with no response.

:nuke:

This is important stuff, the STAR rebate, etc., not just piddly shit.

3. Registered mail

Snail mail, registered.

When I was divorced from my 1st wife, she was cordial and friendly right up to court day.

She perjured herself and claimed I had not given her any child support during the separation, and requested alimony & child support that exceeded my monthly salary. Luckily I had made some payments by check and kept the records. She recanted and was awarded $25. a month for our 1 child, no alimony.

Divorce is dirty business. Protect yourself.
