Do music stores still buy cds?

I remember when they use to pay 3-4 dollars a cd (if they weren't scratched up, but that was awhile ago)...I have over a thousand and I need to come up with rent money before the first...

I thought about them but I remember when they just offered me a nickle to a quarter apiece for the vhs tapes I had left over from my moving sale last year (and they were good titles too!)...Since cds seem to also becoming extinct I hate giving up for pennies to the dollar a collection it took me twenty years to build up, but hey, that's the way of the world nowadays I guess.

Not all of them. Your best bet is a local indie store ather than a chain.
