I have that job interview tomorrow and though I'm not expecting to get the job, I am unnaturally terrified about the interview. Hysterical, you might say. I really hate rejection and am not used to it, having been at home as a mother for all these years i.e. I take it personally though I ought not. Anyhow, I've lighted my candles, will play a couple rounds of solitaire and then will go to bed to get some sleep.

It's really stupid, but could you send vibes? Not "get the job" vibes, but "please don't let lisa pee her pants" vibes. Thank you.

I'm really sensitive and shy too. You need to trust that you are intelligent and confident in your abilities. Hold your head up and speak with purpose in your voice. I've done that even though it feels foreign but it worked. Over time a certain confidence has become part of me. You can do it!

It took all I had just to offer to volunteer at a place following a few years out of the work force. Now I go to the same place 3-4 times a week. I look back at how freaked out I was with a smile.

Make them GET it. Make them see what kind of mistake they'd be making if they didn't hire YOU.

Be enthusiastic, be strong, be confident, and remember this:

There isn't "one" winner. They aren't doing you a favor.
