Have you ever known someone who wedded sad?
Note: the word "wedded" means attended a wedding ceremony that solemnized the person's marriage.

You can think of "he/she died happy" to help understand the construction "he/she wedded sad."

2. One of my friends accidently sprayed Lysol on her hair
in the bathroom a few minutes before the ceremony. I grabbed her arm, but it was too late. She washed it out of her bangs but she still looked all miserable walking down the aisle.

They had been together for 3 years before the wedding. The marriage lasted 8 months. I consider the Lysol to have been the turning point and a bad omen.
