Trust me on this.

There are some new rules which will make everything harder.

All this will be worth it if we have President Obama.

The good thing is we have a pay raise, and with lots of overtime the paycheck will be good.

OK, everybody get out and vote and take as many people with you as you can.

1. I filled out my ballot yesterday. Then ran into a glitch. *groan*
The ballot instructions said to make the appropriate choices in pencil or ink. (That rule must be to prevent freepers using crayons.) :eyes:

No problem, I filled in my selections with a brand new #2 pencil.

Then I found some obscure crap in the materials saying it HAD to be in BLACK INK! So I wrote the auditors office at the email provided, and asked if I should send it all back and request a new ballot.

First response from there today was, "Sure, send it in! That will go through the machine."

A couple hours later, I received another response from someone else, telling me that the machine would probably not read pencil. But that I could go over the pencil marks with black ink and it would go through. (As long as there were no erasures) And that she would personally check my ballot to make sure it is counted, and have it manually entered by the resolution board if necessary.

Geeze, these damned machines make me nervous!

3. I don't like our machines either.
Our county is run by republicans.

We need a huge turnout.

Thank you for voting.
