Passengers like pilots' straight talk, but some topics don't fly
Robb's note: this is about the Christian evangelist pilot episode, but here's what caught my eye:

Some topics don't fly

(snip)

"On the right-hand side, there's the Grand Canyon, but don't all move to the right at once or we'll tilt."

(snip)

Panelist Mike Josephson of Irving, Texas, describes the hilarity after a clumsily executed landing, when a pilot joked that he had to "hop" the plane over rabbits on the runway. (There weren't any.)

(snip)

Panelist Brian Masemer of Shepherdstown, W.Va., recalls white-knuckle fliers cringing as two young pilots hummed TV's "Jeopardy!" theme over the intercom before a high-wind takeoff in Telluride, Colo.

This is funniest if you've ever flown in or out of Telluride. The strip is on top of a mesa, with cliffs on either side of it, and it ramps up toward the end to help slow you down! Locals call it the "U.S.S. Telluride", since it reminds pilots of their navy carrier days. :)
