Stern is *totally* ripping in to shrub
Stern is calling for "regime change" in the white house... says "the taliban is in power here and we need to get them out"... derides the gay marriage constitutional amendment as "crazy".

When a listener called in and asked what they should do to help him, he said - "vote George W. Bush out of office".

Not only that, but he said he felt inspired by Rosie O'Donnell getting married!!!

1. One of the guys at work said that Rosie needed to keep her mouth shut.
He claims she made some comments after the ceremony that has people all up in arms. People who originally did not support the amendment were said to have changed their mind after her comments.

What a weenie.

2. question on the Rosie thing ...
I heard on MSNBC or CNN that in her 'post nuptial speech' yesterday she said something about her marriage being a 'gift' or 'message' to W ?

Isn't she one of his rah-rah fans ??

I'm confused.

Thanks :hippie:

7. I don't think she is...
I've heard she's very anti-gun, pro-woman and pro-gay.

10. So what?
It didn't exactly hurt their career. Just made the radio stations look stupid.

Clear Channel took him off of their stations, just as they did to the Chicks.

5. Stern got "scolded" by Clear Channel for speaking truth
Now that he's got nothing to lose, he's letting go on Bush. We need more of this media outrage.

6. Hey, I'll take my allies where I can find 'em...
but does anyone else feel that H.S. has only changed his attitude because he senses a change in the direction of the wind?

But that is good too. When those in the "upper reaches" start feeling a change in the wind, think how strong the wind is at ground level.

He's become much more vocally anti-bush. But I'll take any ally who has millions of listeners.

13. He never supported Bush in 2000
He was a Gore supporter, but only because he thought Gore was the lesser of 2 evils.

I'll take Stern on our side any day of the week.
