Paging MrsGrumpy.....durn your oily hide, woman!!
Man, I woke up this morning with the Randy 'Macho Man' Savage of all sore throats! x(

I didn't leave my house yesterday (due to the weather) so it's got to be your fault...I tells ya, when I figure out how people get sick from someone else via the internets, I'ma be a rich, rich lady. ;)

Hope you feel better, MrsG...if so, do share which remedy finally worked.

1. Oh no! Sorry dolo. I knew I shoulda lysoled my keyboard!
:( I am drinking glasses of hot water which seem to ease it. I did eat the raw garlic in a fit of desperation and threw up. Ibuprofen knocked me out so I would say...go with that. :) I'm going to the dr. today and am going to pick up the eucalyptus chips and try them when I get home. Sweet baby James has a worse sore throat today too so we're both going to go in...

Big healing hugs to you. I'll be more careful next time. I promise.

 Laura

2. Yeah...I think I'll pass
on the garlic.:scared:

Poor wee James :(...I think that Ruby (the 3 yr old) might have a sore throat too, either that or she had a tragic accident overnight I'm not aware of. She just came over to me rubbing her throat and said "Mommy, my neck is broken." :D

I'm having hot coffee now, but I'm having a hard time swallowing even that. I think I'll try the Ibuprofen next. ;)

Let me know how those eucalyptus chips work, I have some oil I think I'll try in a bit if it doesn't improve.

8. Cabin fever?
Edited on Fri Feb-27-04 10:14 AM by supernova
:D Yeah, I feel it too. I'm done with winter. Must be getting older, winter cold and lack of light bother me a lot more than they used to. My body craves heat and sunlight.

I was just thinking yesterday that I enjoy SPRING snows. They're pretty coming down, then they GO AWAY almost immediately. Maybe I'll get out my camera and take some snow on the bud pics today.

edit: about 4 inches I guess. Certainly not the big blizzard I was led to believe. I feel cheated.
