4. www.kfog.com
San Francisco. Mostly rock and pop, last 30 years. Hear stuff you haven't heard for ages, that doesn't get played at Clear Channel.

6. Radio Paradise
iTunes has a ton of stations pre-loaded. RP is one of my faves. Great mix of world, alt, classics. The only downside is, if you listen all day, they DO have a play-list. Not 1/100th as bad as commercial radio, but there are a few great tunes they rotate heavier than others, but nothing I've found intrusive.

8Ball Radio and Indie Pop Rocks are good for "college music" and indie bands.

12. Meria Heller- www.meria.net has commentary and news......
Edited on Fri Feb-27-04 10:07 AM by mac2
She frequently interviews people in the public eye. She has a spiritual program but that is not her talent. Her talent is getting the truth out as much as possible so you can decide.

If you can afford it, she has an extensive achieve with many interviews. There's information in them that mainstream media won't touch.

I used to get most my political information from Meria Heller, Mike Malloy, Truthout.com, and Democrats.com. I stopped Democrats.com because my free speech was attacked by a couple Neo Cons. I still read the front page. I belong to Americans for Separation of Chruch and State, ACLU, and many enviornmental and civil rights groups who keep me informed.

Good music is even harder to find. WTTW has clasical music out of Chicago.
