PHEEW, Monkey off BACK!

So, I was kind of in Dutch with the bureau chief of a paper I write for... I misunderstood an assignement cause it was changed halfway through and he got all pissed when I filed. I was kind of spooked, I knew I wouldn't be blacklisted, but it's not a nice feeling knowing someone you depend on for a living is pissed at you.
He's told me he really likes my work before, which is good too.

ANYWAY.... he just emailed to ask if I was free on election night... pheewwww it appears I'm no longer in the doghouse. Maybe cause I offered a cut rate on the piece cause of the misunderstanding?
