4. i always enjoyed watching the squirrels at the feeder at my dad's house
the feeder was attached to the side of the house right under the kitchen window and we'd mix squirrel mix in with the birdseed. all our visitors got along just fine.

when i was little (and still on occasion now) i wish i could be a squirrel. my boyfriend said i'd make a good squirrel, but i'm not quite sure what to make of that

12. squirrels are so much better than birds
why not just put up some netting to keep the birds out and watch the squirrels? Problem solved.

16. Have you informed him that he is wasting his time?
Squirrels and birds can and do eat together at feeding stations. I used to feed both. At one point, there was a white mother squirrel and her two baby squirrels(one solid white like her, and one gray and white) at the feeder along with 2 mourning doves and a cardinal. They were all right there on the picnic table together eating in perfect harmony.

Tell him he'll miss out on getting to see a white squirrel possibly if he keeps that up. :P

28. Nooooooooooo....
Ever wonder why Huckabee is such a nutter? Voila...

Doctors in Kentucky have issued a warning that people should not eat squirrel brains, a regional delicacy, because squirrels may carry a variant of mad cow disease that can be transmitted to humans and is fatal.

29. squirrels are teh devil!
Squirrel terror must stop!

A squirrel ignited a fiery chain reaction that led to a power line collapse, car fire, natural gas fire and a power outage in northwest Spokane Wednesday morning.

It all started … (when) a squirrel came in contact with a transformer. That single action set in motion a chain of events.

First, the power line burned through causing the line to fall to the ground and come into contact with a metal fence and a car. The car caught on fire.

The fence, meanwhile, was energized by the fallen power line and the electricity was conducted underground to a natural gas pipeline which in turn burned through and started an underground natural gas fire which burned up to two gas meters at nearby houses.

The fire department extinguished the fires while (the local power company) shut off the natural gas pipeline … the squirrel did not survive the melee.
