Share your wisdom of the ages. How would you fill in the blank?

The Older I get, the more I just don't give a damn what other people think. :P

41. Good! Thank you! Not that there aren't really good and wonderful common men (women),
but the romantic notion of a wondrously moral and virtuous Common Man as somehow better and more valuable than an educated man, a complex man, or a worldly man, makes me puke because of its falsity.

Most "common" men are just ignorant, vulgar spewers of garbage.

But, on the other hand, they work in the factories, so they fulfill a necessary role.

17. ...the happier I have become, but
I also realise how unhappy I was.
My answer is to live a long time, be happy and get over the bad parts of my life.

Since I have retired, I don't have to deal with bosses - the miserable officious bastards and their petty and nasty lives - who delight in passing their misery on to everyone else. I am happier and more contend every day, but have no use for those people.

40. ...judge people for who they are rather than who I wish people were.
I've lost a lot of my self-righteous certainty that intelligence and education are the value of a person. Give me an honest simpleton over an over-educated elitist prick any day. Even if I'm closer to the latter a lot of times. :)
