1. That sucks.
And no, I didn't watch it. I'm just practicing for when I'm reactionary and old. :P

3. I am greatly awaiting the new Rise Against album, though.
However, as well all know...it sucks due to being less than 30 years old.

She's definitely got a bit of that spark that defined some of the greats. How much of it, I don't know. But so far I'm likin' their stuff.

I was a little worried when I saw that they did a Nirvana cover... most attempts to cover Nirvana end badly. I think this one turned out pretty damn good.

11. Some more, some not so much rock but ones I like

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJfQXS1hKDo

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZE-ML-BAAfY

There's some older artists who've come out with awesome records in the past couple years:

Radiohead, Portishead, James, etc.

There's also some groups out there that aren't rock, but electronic music still owns:

and so forth, there's lots out there, one just has to try and not be an old fogie :P

I liked 4 outta the 10 or so, the first one was actually decent, the Bloc Party, Hunting for Witches, Sparta was sweet, and Nobody Move, Nobody get Hurt was good as well...

Death from Above 1979 is decent, I've been keen on them for 4yrs or so, and Queens of the Stone Age, I always thought they were vastly underrated...:)

The ones I'd add are

Lacuna Coil:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6gFJogLJ_g

Straight Line Stitch:(Heavy Metal)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsXK1w0Yrm4

Finch:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRg-SaqmIj4

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBsEwiWLMU8

DemonHunter:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3t9MWf7AM8

The Killers

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVCkSMwaGGc

I never cared to much for the Killers, but when I heard When we were Young, they caught me....its hard for me to get into what I see on Mtv, or VH1, I try to watch Headbangers Ball each Saturday, but usually 99% of the metal they play is borderline death metal/growling like a bear metal, and that doesn't do nothing for me...also, Dragonforce, love those guys....:D

and Buddy Holly reverb twang. Great stuff. (well, except for the commercials... but you can't have everything.)
