You know why I really dislike Sarah Palin?

I used to love women in glasses - ever since I was in middle school and had a crush on the pretty girl in glasses in the row next to me.

However, now if I tell people I like women in glasses, they'll just think I'm following the trend that Sarah Palin set...even if I tell them I don't like Palin and have always liked women in glasses, they'll be like, "yeah, sure buddy..."

1. Just tell them you've were hot for teacher not hot for politician.

Or, in my case, hot for librarian.

2. I dislike her because she is a sellout zealot.

Don’t sweat Palin and her attempt to look intelligent by wearing glasses, we aren’t buying it. I am so happy to be married to a man who likes me in my glasses. Contacts are an expensive pain and laser surgery is still too risky for me, a progressive myopic.

3. Does your wife wear glasses? It would be helpful to your cause if she does.

Edited to add that someone recently told me my glasses are Palin-esque.

Uh, no. Wrong answer. I had these glasses before I ever heard of that woman. AND I DON'T LOOK LIKE HER WHILE WEARING THEM.

But, Sarah Palin makes me go from 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock...if you know what I mean.
