Newspaper guy came knocking on my door just now
He was trying to sell me a subscription. I declined saying, "I get all my news from the web,I don't need the newspaper."

Then he said,"Well the paper has so much more to offer"

I replied,"Newspapers make a mess in my house."

The hey said,"No no no! My newspapers won't leave a mess in your house."

2. Yeah, no doubt
The only time I enjoyed going door to door was when I was selling those $1.00 candy bars for band. The adults would by them to humor the kids. But other than that, I would NEVER go door to door.

My boyfriend's Mother knocks on doors for Obama. For the most part, people are nice. But you get 2-3 nasty ones a day and that would ruin it for me.

6. Yeah, it was kinda sad
But I was nice and polite to him. I used to deliver papers. I don't even know why they bother to print newspapers anymore. With Cable and the Internet what's the point. The news is a day old.

On the other hand, my Grandparents have cable yet they get both papers. They like to read Dear Abby, the comics and the LTE. My Grandmother does her daily crosswords. So I expect newspapers will be around for awhile.
