Ever have a flashback to some obscure movie you once remembered seeing?
I have no idea why, but all of a sudden I thought of the 1980s Wizard of Oz sequel, "Return to Oz" (starring The Waterboy's Fariuza Balk.)I remember seeing it in the gymnasium of my elementary school and that the movie seemed rather dark and disturbing for a PG rated children's movie.

Why I suddenly thought of a movie I saw over 20 years ago beats me.

1. Some movies just stick on your brain.

One has particuarly stuck on me:

"It Happened Here" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/It_Happened_Here

What if Britain lost the Battle of Britain? What if the Nazis invaded? This film gave this alternative history scenario a run-through.

It got to nag me to the point that I just had to hunt down the film again and see it again. Netflix of all people carried it - I added it to my list. Still spinechilling for me.

Mark.
