Supreme Power. Now translated into Portuguese, just bought #1.

Favorite bits:

1) Poppy sees through crystal (hehehe)
2) "Uh, maybe Spotty WAS a good name after all"

No spoilers, please.

7. Do they have the issues of Doom Patrol just after...
...the Crawling From The Wreckage saga? The ones about some "Butterfly Collector" that kidnaps the comatose Rhea? Those are the only ones of the Grant Morrison stint I never had a glimpse of.

11. I think there's two trade paberbacks of the Doom Patrol
They've finally collected all of Grant's work on "Animal Man", which is another must read.

3. Used to read both Marvel and DC in similar amounts
And a bit of others here and there. Supreme Power is by Marvel.

Best Non-Marvel-Non-DC series: Give Me Liberty, Third World War

8. Oh boy.
Maybe the ship that brought Kal-El to Earth spread some kind of mind-clouding waves?

9. I asked my husband
apparently they don't have the doom stuff.

They are big into x-men, spiderman, and those spin-offs...
Of course, I know nothing about any of this.

10. You do know the writer is the same author as the man

Behind Babylon 5, right?

For those who haven't heard about the series, it's sorta like the Watchmen. JMS has revamped the old Squadron Supreme (who were based on the JLA, just like the Authority) for a modern audience. Very mature writing, not just super powered characters beating each other up.

12. What's wrong with wearing clothes?
Though I really have to say, those comics are *YOU*! They really bring out the bubbles that float over your head

17. Ever try any of Lisner's stuff?
I'm a huge Dawn fan. God and Satan as bitter ex-lovers, too funny. If you're into fantasy comics you should check it out. I also like Lisner's art because his women don't look like typical comic bimbos--they look like they've had something to eat besides carrot sticks.

Dawn is probably my favorite comic next to Sandman.

18. You should probably read Daredevil these days
The guy who does Dawn (I think) has been a part of the revamp. Daredevil finally was "outted". Everyone knows who he was/is. He's since taken over his area of NY as his own. He's now the new Kingpin.

I never paid much attention to Daredevil but I guess I have to now, hmm? :)

That sounds pretty cool.
