Hey you.
I don't think I started a thread in a few days. You may have started forgetting me. ;)

What's happening? Not much with me. I went out to London on Sunday and had a bit of a health scare on the tube. As soon as I boarded the train I started getting chest pains, which got much worse after I got off and walked to the next station to change trains. I was worried for a while that I was having a heart attack. I think it was my esophagus going crazy; I do have trouble with reflux and stuff. I had also been silly that day, drinking too much coffee and no water.

Yesterday I went dancing. Emily stood me up again; she has only made 2 out of 5 classes so far. I am getting quite used to going without my partner. x( I got some quality time with Sarah the instructor, she must have seen me doing some stuff wrong and gave me some tips. Apart from Em not being there it was good.

Anyone want a hug?

3. A hug is yours
I am feeling better, but it did persist a little into Monday and yesterday. A little today too. That is the reason why I am cutting down on the coffee, and trying to drink much more water. It seems to have helped the heartburn a lot. I actually feel as if my food is mostly staying in there rather than trying to escape all the time.

About six years ago, I once took myself down the emergency room after suffering a similar attack, because I was new to the area and hadn't sorted out a regular doctor yet. The doc at the hospital advised me to give up the coffee, cigarettes, beer and spicy food.

I was like, :wtf: those are all my favourite things! :(

Edit: I did subsequently give up the smokes and the beer, though. I even gave up the coffee for a time, but I got back on the joe again.

I went to see my sister in Annapolis on Monday. She was bitten by a raccoon and I went to the hospital with her. She's fine, just annoyed that she has to get rabies vaccinations every week for the next month now.

Yesterday I finally saw The Dark Knight with a friend. It wasn't bad, but it was really long. I guess my attention span isn't that long. :P

Now I'm at work and bored out of my mind.

4. Yikes!
I've heard that rabies jabs are no fun at all. :(

My film buff friend at work was really dejected after seeing The Dark Knight. He went there expecting it to be a life changing experience, when actually it turned out merely to be a moderately good film.

Serves him right for believing the hype. He should have known better. ;)

9. I'm glad you turned out to be fine.
That would have sucked. :(

The movie was better than I thought it would be, but not as good as the hype said it would be. Ah, well. It was the first movie I'd been to see in months, so I was happy anyway. :D

Forget YOU?

Never.

Sorry about your health scare and that girl Emily.

You deserve better, way better!

I'd love a hug!

And here's one for you, sweetie!

I have to write to you and bi_baby. My wrist is going to take some punishment over the coming days.

What's that you say? :P

The sun he put in an appearance here on Monday. I doubt we'll see him again until next year.
