I actually enjoyed the listening to the guys in the booth last night.

Harold Reynolds is a breath of fresh air.

1. That's kind of like saying
Rutherford B. Hayes was a much better president than W.

Or, an outbreak of genital herpes is a much better president than W.

Or, the furry linoleum stain from when that persimmon fell behind the refrigerator in 1973 is a much better president than W.

Or... eh, you get the idea.

3. You pullin' for anybody?
Or are you just gonna let your heart figure that out as the playoffs go along?

4. Preliminarily I am kind of hoping for a Rays vs Cubs series.
I DO know that I am routing against the White Sox.

I like the whole "Rays have never been to the Series and Cubs have not won the Series for a gazillion years" thing.

7. Trouble is it is cable only
First time the brewers are in the fucking playoffs in 26 years and if you don't have cable you don't see it here is brew town.
The owner where i work was going to bring a tv in so we could all watch it while we "worked"
Pisses me off.

8. Absolutely. TBS baseball is great.
It doesn't seem nearly as overcommericalized or "over-graphiced" as Fox.

Of course, Fox is Fox, and besides The Simpsons and Family Guy, is there much good to say about anything associated with the Fox name?

Fox has Tim McCarver. TBS has Cal Ripken. That pretty much settles it for me right there.
