So, what's for dinner..
I am going to saute so chopped ham steak with zuch, tom, onion, in olive oil ,with some long grain rice, then make some breaded thick cut pork chops. Need to go to the produce stand and pick up some chirizo. Try a little something new. Any suggestions?

1. No idea
I had a late lunch of my leftover eggplant parm sub from last night.

I'm sure the kids (+1 extra) will be hungry later for something. I should think about it.

We're having grilled NY sirloin strip steaks, corn on the cob, lettuce salad, and a very nice red wine
on TV trays watching football (UCLA game).

So I am having a White Rock chardonnay with the salmon. There is also Xanadu Shiraz if I feel up for a change later.

My dinner was uber yummy. :9

13. I am going to walk to the corner convenient store
and get me a couple packs of frozen,White Castle, burgers. I loved white castle when I was driving truck but we don't have them here in Denver. The frozen ones at
the store are the next best thing!

19. we don't have a white castle near our area either
so we buy the frozen ones, my kid inhales them by the boxfuls, very tasty, not quite as good as fresh off the grill, but the next best thing.

15. beer....
Boont Amber, and a big bottle of Arrogant Bastard one of the students brought for me (last night someone gifted me a Kilt-lifter's Ale).

I *might* dilute it with some barbecued tri-tip or something. I've gotten to the point where I eat cold dinners in the field, but the students are still honing and showing off their field cooking skills. It works for me!

22. We're having friends over
Grilled pork and sausages for the red meat eaters (not me), grilled apples, grilled peppers, grilled chicken with a reduced port wine sauce, salad (of fennel, apples, pears, romaine, endive, bleu cheese, mustard vinaigrette), cheese ravioli with parmesan, bruschetta with onion confit, and dessert is low brow -- make your own sundae with milano cookies. Oh, and lots of wine. :)
