Note to Frank CALIENDO: Ditch your Shrub impersonation trying to make him "cute"

The only things I've seen of this comic are the commercials, where he does a "cute" Shrub, the supposedly sweet malapropisms.

As LETTERMAN said after a clip of Shrub being his idiotic self, "He's a CUTE boy, isn't he?" (Delivered totally deadpan.)


I detest Shrub, everything about him, and there's nothing cute about him. A comic trying to make him look cute is attempting to make Shrub palatable.


Yeah yeah, I know, "It's just comedy."

1. I get it, but...

...I also enjoy seeing the insecure * lampooned as a wanna-be big shot who does nothing but fail. You could argue that it's wrong to trivialize one of the all-time great mass murderers, but I think comedians get a little bit of the credit for keeping * from being crowned Emperor.

I think Caliendo's * is pathetic rather than "cute"--unless he's got some new schtick that I haven't seen yet.

I still say the best Shrubya is done by Will Ferrell.
