My computer is starting to fail

Any recommendations? I'm gonna mainly use it to do videos and "photoshop."

1. Build one.

You'll save a decent amount of money, plus it's pretty fun.

2. Videos you need gobs of memory and...

processing power.

You could get a superpowerful Mac, or for less bucks you could get a 64 bit Vista machine loaded with memory. (32 bit Vista machines limit you to 3MB and 64 bit XP machines suck ass)

Or, you could wing it on the cheapest machine out there. It will work, but slowly.

5. Hell, that could be a simple thing, like the computer not being shut down properly once.
