Up until today, I was looking forward to it. Now, not so much.

But, I've made a commitment, and I also can't cancel my hotel reservation. Ugh.

I'd much rather be staying here and doing school/work -work.

2. Thanks babe
Somebody's being a fuckwit, and has made me feel like staying home.

But, I'm not having $117 charged to my CC for a hotel room if I'm not going to use it, eh?

If I can't deal, I'll just take off, go shopping, eat dinner happily alone, and spend the night chillin in my hotel room with free wi-fi. :)

4. I do that every time I am supposed to go somewhere.
I would feel guilty about spending money to not use a hotel room, so I understand that.

I hope that you can find some good thing to do while you're there.

Use the time to energize yourself and power up for the work that needs to get done.

 for you, though. Having to go somewhere when you don't want to, sucks.

5. If my Ex hadn't decided to totally suck this week, I'd be fine
I was initially super excited to go. I'm helping him paint his bedroom at my parents' house. But, I'm laying out a lot of $ for the trip, between the room, helping him buy the supplies, dinner for both of us, etc. (He's a pauper, but also my best friend)

I just wanted him to go there tonight and re-arrange the room to get it ready for painting, and to be ready at 9 am. I would have been getting up at 6 to get there in time.

But, he won't go get the room ready, and tells me that 9 is too early for him. Then he got off of the phone with me in record time, even though I'm obviously displeased. I gave him an out and told him that I'd be just as happy to not come there and help him, but he told me he'd see me at 10.

Needless to say, I'm not happy about it all. Blah. I'm just too worn out to get angry.

:)

6. Ugh.
Nothing worse than sacrificing to make plans only to be flaked on. I have family that does that to me - about big stuff, too. I still want to pull my hair out.

Hang in there, gf. We love them in spite of themselves, don't we. ;)
