I just got a $13.86 check for nothing!

virtually nothing at least. A year ago I filled out a form on some site since I bought a CD from 96-2000. That made me eligible as part of a class action lawsuit from 43 states against the RIAA for overcharging. A year later it's gone through, and got my check, for just about nothing. And I fucked the RIAA too. this is a good day.

Well, actually, it was kind of a rebate. "Take a dollar off your next shipment".



(This was part of a class action suit against FedEx for overcharging).

Considering how I've overpaid, I'd rather it went to the educational purposes described. I was expecting less, though. And at least I just forfeited my right to sue the RIAA in THIS suit.
