As some of you know, Ms Uly and I have been in the open adoption process for almost two years now, with most of that time spent waiting (more or less) patiently for a birthmom to find our profile and say, "Yeah, them."

Lightening seems to have struck this week - we've been contacted by *two* birthmothers since Monday, one of whom is due next Wednesday. Things are very much up in the air at this point and it could be that neither contact will work out...or, god willing and the creek don't rise, both of them might.

It'd be one way to break my DU habit. :D We'd appreciate any crossed fingers or rabbits' feet anyone happens to have hanging around.
