2. Most likely not until it comes out on DVD
Cause I hardly ever go to the movies since my daughter was born and if I were to go it would be to see something else. But I'd rent it, I suppose.

5. ain't that the truth?
I hardly go to movies anymore. Sometimes, DH will go out to see a movie one night and then I'll go see the same thing later in the week. But between cost of tix and cost of sitter, it's just not worth it.

but no hurry at all. I certainly don't want to buy tickets for it at this point and drive the box office #s up.

6. Not sure, I'm curious
I don't have to pay to see it, yet I really don't know if I want to, especially after reading some posts here and the reviews.

7. Only if Mel Gibson pays me $25,000 to see it.
And since, of course, that will never happen...

Then my answer is: no.

12. Nope
I'm not interested in seeing it.

From what I've read many Christians find it very moving. non-Christians find the violence over the top. It seems that Christan's bring their own context to the movie and find the events depicted to be very moving. If you don't already believe the movie does not convey any of that back story instead focusing on the gore.

Not being a Christan and already knowing far more than I want to know about that religion there is no reason for me to see it.

I'll be seeing it, but not paying for it, as part of a class project. Our passes are going to be donated by a roomie of mine who manages a theater. Afterwards we will discuss whether it's anti-semitic. (The class, btw, is a conversion class.)

it just "is"; there isn't anything really specific about it I guess.

Technically reincarnation was part of Catholicism until it was "expunged".

Life can be upsetting enough without going out and looking for something to ruin my sleep for a while. Don't even want to be in a theater where it's running on another screen.

41. No. I feel that to do so is to be a customer for Mel's insanity.
If you look at the characters that Mel has played for the past 20 years or more, most of them have been beaten, tortured, disemboweled, crippled, shot, stabbed, hobbled, have mental breakdowns, etc.

This latest effort is the apotheosis of Mel's brutal fantasies. I am also very suspect of his political motives in releasing this movie now.

I don't give a rat's ass what Mel Gibson thinks; this film is just another Hollywood load of shit. If it's "historically accurate," my butt's a typewriter.

It wasn't that great. If I want to see someone who has been beaten until they are unrecognizable, I'll go down to the hospital's morgue where I work and check out someone who was the victim of domestic abuse.
