12. I always wanted to know what the hell that meant

So I think I posted a thread on it and got some replies. Apparently the B52 singer who sings that line is partially deaf, and when they record songs they'll often have a session where they shout things that come off the top of their heads, and everyone else had stopped singing but she didn't know that because of her hearing problem - so she sang tin roof rusted after everyone had stopped and they decided to keep it in.

At least that's what I heard.

9. Funny story (okay, funny to my friends and family) about this song.

This was the first and only time I attempted Karaoke in a crowded bar. I suppose that should be all I should say. But I messed up and shouted the Love Shack Baby!! Line at the wrong time and then tripped and fell off the makeshift stage. I still can't convince some people that I am not an alcoholic.
