Edited on Sat Sep-20-08 09:10 PM by JanMichael
Because Scout looks like a little pig. So much for bacon.

1. What's really nice is that you can still enjoy the taste of bacon.

Scout is a cute pup, though.

3. Did my trick for separating the slices work for you?
That looks good.

I think tomorrow I'll have to fry some up and throw it on some Amy's Texas patties.

4. Ha! My old employer!
Late nights at the Lightlife factory till 3 am...good memories, except for Smart Ground nights and nights in the "wet room" with the Tofu Pups. Ugh. Otherwise, much fun. :)

9. It's excellent.
We veggie folk RAVE about this product. It's the taste without the "grease". Comes out nice and crispy.

11. I've encountered a mixed bag with veggie products...some of them are very good.
Like I've had some great veggie dogs...some of them not so good.
:)
But this sounds like it's worth a try.

13. I completely agree.
I haven't really met a veggie dog I really care for. The Smart Dogs (same brand as the bacon) are okay, but so many of the others are just bleh.

14. Smart dogs are the best I've had, With some kraut, you can hardly tell the difference.
I love some of the stuff out there made with mycoprotein, too.

8. She is seriously cute. But her little doggie
butt looks exactly like ham hocks. We quit eating bacon...and then cows....and then poultry....and now we are down to fish, and that's probably out soon.....
