Wendy's Managers Strip Search Employees After Falling For Scam
<snip>

Managers of Wendy's restaurants in Abington, Wareham, Whitman, and West Bridgewater have been suspended with pay, after they strip-searched employees, the restaurants' corporate office announced yesterday.

Bob Bertini, a spokesperson for Wendy's International Inc., said four Wendy's restaurants fell prey to a scam on Friday, when a caller who identified himself as a police officer informed managers that an employee may have stolen money from the restaurants.

The caller gave the managers instructions to perform a strip search of a single employee at each location, and the managers complied, Bertini said.

Later, however, each manager became suspicious, and reported the call and the incident to local police.

3. What is wrong with those employee's?
They were dumb enough to go along with this illegal search?! I would have told that manager to get screwed. And now I would be quitting my shitty fast-food job to get a lawyer and sue their asses.:mad:

4. Nothing's wrong with the employees.
The cons have made a lot of progress on making us worker bees feel "lucky we have a job." When you feel like you have no options, you will do whatever your boss tells you. No questions asked.

The managers are the stupid ones.

5. Wendy's employees can't afford a lawyer

not at the minimum wage, and if you sue your employer, you have a justifiable fear of being tagged a trouble-maker and not being able to get a future job.
