1. I was actually talking about this to a friend last night....
Could you imagine a White Sox/Cubs WS? The crosstown classic of the century? And combining that with an Obama win?

I can't even fathom the extent of the chaos if that were the case. :)

3. Barack is a White Sox fan. That's who should be in the Series.
Cubs will fail like they always do. This Illinoisan doesn't expect or want the Cubs to pollute the world series with their presence.

After what the rest of Cubs nation did to that kid, Steve Bartman, forget it. I root against the Cubs for all eternity.

10. Chicago needs that
Especially since they'll be riding the crest of a Chicago WS, and in the darkest days of the midwestern weather - Obama wins.

People put on their polypropylene flannels and go out and party.

You know President Obama will want to party there!

13. As a lifelong New Englander, I would cheer for the Cubs in the World Series. Even if they
played against the Sox.

Cubs fans have suffered FAR too long.

14. I'd gladly give up a Cubs win for an Obama win, if we can only get one.
I'd gladly have the Cubs never win another game ever if it somehow assured and Obama win.

However, both would be pretty cool. Talk about pigs flying!
