He's at a rescue organization, and they want to place him in a working home. She only does sheepherding recreationally with the hopes of trialing.

1. Shame you don't know someone that runs a well respected rescue
that'd write you one hell of a reference.

9. Guv Palin is not a dog at all
Dogs can be trusted.

Ms Palin must be some kind of cat. Cute and cuddly when you're in the same room, poops in your shoes when you're not looking.

Cat lovers: just kidding.

8. Her family can't be herded by a border collie.
They're impervious to "the eye." They need to be herded by heelers. Heelers bite. Border collies just give evil stares, which is meaningless to them.

11. Our BC doesn't herd the one cat, but that's only because he's scared of her
He's smart as hell and will try to herd anything else, though.

We're looking for another buddy for him. We'd rather get a rescued ABCA border collie than go to a breeder (that's what he is). And, we definitely don't want an AKC dog.

13. Our's is pretty awesome
Haruka had herding with him tonight. She came home with a nasty looking bruise on his hand. A ram, well, rammed it.
