Any smokers that live Florida?

How much are cigarettes there (per pack)? I will be there on Friday until Monday (in Orlando) and was figuring I should probably wait until I get there to buy some - they come to just a bit over $6.00 per pack including tax here in New Jersey :/

Btw, I would looking for Camel Lights or Parliaments...not the cheapo brands.

... the South is far cheaper on tobacco than the Northeast.

VA and NC have some of the lowest tobacco taxes in the country, generally because we grow the stuff and want to protect our tobacco farmers.

Average cost of cigarette pack in NJ: $5.96. Average cost of cigarette pack in FL: $3.54. You'd probably save at least $2 a pack, if not more, even on national brands.

:rant: Now, I know you have the freedom to smoke, and that's your right. However it is also my right to give you a warning about the dangers of smoking. In short: it kills. I've seen my dad and granddad suffer through smoking... and I don't wish it on my worst enemy. It is for my conscience alone that I need to tell you to quit. I don't care how you do it, if you need my help I can where I can, but don't let a hospital bed with a doctor telling you that you've had a massive heart attack and that you need a triple by-pass or a pacemaker, or that you now have emphysema be your wake up call.
