An adult film producer in Edmonton has been given the go-ahead for a new pornography channel from the CRTC.

You know, that’s great.

I was just thinking there isn't enough pornography in the world.

Of course, this is Canada, so the CRTC's approval came with a condition – 50 per cent of the adult content has to be Canadian.

Previously, if you wanted any Canadian content in your nudity, you had to watch a Montreal channel, which only boasts 20 per cent Canadian skin.

Besides, it was broadcast in French, so it was hard to follow the plot if you aren’t bilingual.
