3. She did a good job on the voice and mannerisms.
Palin's voice is a tad irritating.

Tina Fey rocks.

14. Can you imagine how conflicted she must be?
Edited on Sun Sep-14-08 06:10 AM by Kutjara
On the one hand, I'm sure Tina no more wants Mooselini in the WH than a rabid wolverine. On the other hand, if Apocalypse Barbie does get in, Tina has got 4-8 years of material that will practically write itself.

17. I bet there's no conflict at all
Fey is an intelligent woman with a tv show, movies and a conscience.

Who would wish Palin on this country just to have a job? The karma payback on THAT one would truly be a bitch.

23. Except she's not on the show anymore
Last night was a special one time guest appearance. Tina wasn't on last year either. She left to do "30 Rock" which is, oddly enough, a show about the people who make a late night weekend comedy program.

16. That was amazing
I honestly thought it was Palin (watched it on youtube this AM) On TV it was a little more evident that it was not Sarin.

18. Fey is SOOOO much hotter than Palin ever was or will be
Fey's intelligence and wit shows through all the time, even (or especially) when she is spoofing a petty, power-hungry, two-bit know-nothing of a politician like Phailin.

20. I would have loved to see Fey's reaction when she first found out McCain had picked Palin
It was probably a mixture of horror as a smart woman and joy as she knew how much fun she'd have. I bet she started practicing the voice that morning.

24. I agree
It was funny - we finished watching Baby Mama on DVD at 11:27 and switched to NBC just in time to see Fey and Poehler.
