Here is my problem. Every time I try to upload an avatar I get an error message stating "You don't own that avatar." So I just keep trying but keep getting that same error message. So I just gave up. Maybe someone could make a post on how to upload an avatar, step-by-step. Something simple that I could understand.

I use a mac so when I see a pic that I like, that I think would make a good avatar, I just move the pic to Iphoto. But from iphoto I have trouble uploading. I may try saving the pic to my desktop to see if that makes a difference.
